Dennis brings four decades of progressive experience in architecture, engineering and business development in his leadership capacity at NORR. He lives at the core of innovative design projects across multiple market sectors including Health Sciences, Education, Public Buildings, Retail and Industrial.
As a Principal in NORR’s Detroit Office, Dennis is responsible for providing executive oversight of architectural and engineering design, specifications reviews and design and detailing requirements that adhere to jurisdictional codes to achieve client and program objectives. He is drawn to the complex challenges of the Health Sciences sector, successfully completed the design of hospitals, clinics and labs across Michigan and the US. Currently, Dennis is working on the STEM Project at Wayne State University in Michigan. The project will transform 100,000 square feet of space from an existing 7-story library to house the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning facilities.
Dennis is an avid sailor and loves to chase the line on his adventures, including his last trip through the North Channel, along the north shore of Lake Huron. He uses his charting and navigation skills developed over years in the design industry to explore the waterways on his sailboat.
