Mark has a penchant for exploring unchartered territory and leading groundbreaking concepts, projects and formats. He fully embraces the challenges that come with complex, high-intensity architectural projects across food and beverage, retail, shopping centers, entertainment and mixed-use. Over his 30-plus-year career, Mark has realized numerous achievements for high-profile brands ranging from prototype design and program rollouts to repositioning and adaptive reuse.
In his role as Principal, Restaurants, Mark is focused on building strong relationships and understanding the client vision to design both a successful restaurant operation and a memorable guest experience. He prides himself on adapting and delivering new and enhanced formats driven by an evolving sector and expanding field of choice. Mark believes in “sustainability always”, and consistently pushes himself to keep pace with sustainable methods and materials to design new prototypes that help our collective journey to carbon neutrality.
His passion for sustainability extends to his own home – quite literally. Mark is designing a home completely off the grid and powered only by solar energy.
