Residential Development, Kingussie Phase 3

A planning application is being prepared for submission to The Highland Council in relation to a residential development on land between Dunbarry Terrace and General Wade’s Military Road, Kingussie and land adjacent to Ardbroilach Road, Kingussie.

The scheme is at an early stage, and we would therefore welcome the input of the local community to help shape the proposals as they evolve.

Below are details of the Public Consultation events and links to the drawings produced to date.

We would be grateful if you could use the feedback form below to provide comment on these initial proposals.

Please Note: This pre-application consultation is a repeat of the process carried out earlier this year (May–July 2025), which was declared void due to a procedural oversight. All drawings and documents available to view are the same as those presented. Feedback received during the first consultation has been recorded and will remain in our report. Any new feedback received during this re-consultation period will be incorporated into a final report.

Public Consultation events will be held on:

Tuesday 20th January 2026, 14:00-16:00 (GMT); and
Thursday 5th February 2026, 14:00-16:00 (GMT).

At the The Iona Gallery, Duke Street, Kingussie.

These events will include a display of proposed drawings (as per downloads below) and a feedback form to provide comments and an opportunity to ask questions. The second event will include feedback in respect of comments received.
