As a Director of the Glasgow Office, Calum has successfully delivered projects in the Residential, Education, Commercial, Health Sciences and Residential Care sectors during his 30-year career. Common to his work across all sectors, is his drive to deliver solutions that are embedded in context while exploiting opportunities for his clients through the delivery of innovative solutions of high design quality within budget and program.

Calum is the national Health Sciences lead and manages NORR’s input to Health Facilities Scotland (HFS) Framework 2, NHS SBS and CCS Framework projects. Under his tenure, NORR has designed more HFS Design awards-winning buildings than any other practice in the UK and in 2017 had delivered four of the five shortlisted projects. Testimony to his experience in the delivery of specialist mental health and Dementia Care facilities is winning the 2018 Building Better Healthcare Best Mental Health Project as well as the Clinicians Choice Awards.

Calum’s love of design extends outside of the office to his family hobby of refurbishing and developing properties. He brings this experience to his work for NORR clients where he always looks to maximize his clients’ return on investment.
