Maria Leon-Walter

Maria brings more than 15 years of experience within the architectural, engineering, interior design, and planning industry. Starting as a payroll/project coordinator she has grown her accountabilities over time to become the North American Director of Accounting.

Maria is a strong analytical thinker. She manages payroll, assists external auditors on the 401k plan, and supports tax audits and external audits. She is instrumental in creating financial and analytical reports for management and training project managers on financial reporting and project planning.

Outside of work, Maria stays busy with her two small children while pursuing her MBA. She also enjoys volunteering in her community, including the Accounting Aid Society.
