A builder at heart, Bryan Chartier’s youth was defined by crafting treehouses from salvaged materials and assembling intricate models inspired by sci-fi films. When a friend’s architect father suggested he consider architecture for graduate school, it reminded him of the most joyful times in his life—building and creating with others. The energy, collaboration and creativity he encountered on a visit to an architecture studio solidified his calling—the rest is history.
With over 30 years of experience, Bryan has left his design mark on multiple sectors, including Residential, Retail, Restaurants, Hospitality and Commercial. Known for bold concepts and thoughtful execution, his award-winning projects balance strong foundations in space planning with clean, modern aesthetics enriched by curated textures, colors and materials. Sustainability is central to his approach with an emphasis on adaptive reuse to breathe new life into what already exists and inspire others to see untapped opportunities in the built environment. He’s earned the trust of long-standing clients by solving challenges in space optimization, integrating immersive technologies, enhancing occupant health and wellness and embracing universal design principles for inclusivity and accessibility.
Byan’s early mastery of 3D modeling and CAD drafting distinguished him as a valuable resource for firms eager to adopt emerging technologies. He quickly transitioned from technical production to concept design, establishing himself in Interior Design within architectural practices. Today, Bryan continues to bridge the architecture and interior design disciplines for maximum impact while also mentoring the next generation. Through volunteering at institutions like Toronto Metropolitan University, he shares his knowledge and encourages young designers to trust their instincts, own their ideas and embrace technological innovation. An avid traveler, photographer and film enthusiast, Bryan draws inspiration from the world around him.
