Master Planning and Urban Design
NORR has a strong vision for master planning and urban design projects. We utilize our multi-disciplinary and integrated design approach as an outreach tool to community stakeholders. We believe master planning projects require a calling for not only architecture and engineering solutions, but a sensitivity for the social investments our work can bring to greenfield and brownfield development sites in our communities. Master Planning projects require a strategic process that considers how people use spaces and respond to the environment in a framework for sustainable growth. This approach works to realize a holistic design and long-term vision for developers, clients and municipalities that provide new possibilities in the built environment. We work collaboratively to discover solutions and achieve approvals from stakeholders, forecasting timing and outcome while minimizing risk.
