CCCA, P.Eng.
Vice President, Engineering, North America
Adrian’s professional career is deeply rooted in efficient and sustainable design principles. Cognisant of the significant impact construction has on the environment, Adrian strongly advocates for a holistic approach to the built environment and constantly challenges the status quo in pursuit of simple, cost-efficient, sustainable and user-friendly solutions. Adrian’s fluency in addressing subject matters from energy modeling and design of high-performance buildings to zero emission vehicle infrastructure strategies for achieving carbon neutrality, is valued by both clients and peers.
Adrian’s participation was instrumental in some of the most notable projects at NORR, including the highly sought-after Westman Village mixed-use complex, the ground up Engineered Air Head Office and the Canadian Blood Services Processing and Distribution Facility. The diversity of experience has cultivated Adrian’s solution-oriented approach, which provides the strong foundation for integrated thinking, value engineering and continuous project innovation. Adrian believes that the most sustainable buildings are those designed to endure the test of time and change of times. He enjoys being involved in conversion and reuse projects as much as providing technical advice on new building design and construction.
While focused on the growth of NORR’s engineering sector globally, Adrian is committed to strengthen both local and global communities through design and leadership and build long lasting partnerships with all industry partners. His avidity for literary fiction has sparked a creative and entrepreneurial spirit, allowing him to view all projects from an owner/client perspective while exploring all available avenues to achieve their vision.
