Located in Santa Clara at the center of Silicon Valley’s global technology hub, CoreSite’s SV4 Data Center was designed to meet sustained demand for high density digital infrastructure. The facility sits within CoreSite’s Silicon Valley campus, enabling customers to tap into a robust ecosystem of cloud, network, and IT providers and to interconnect across the region.
Our architectural and structural engineering work focused on the design of a two-story, Tier III facility built for operational reliability and long-term flexibility. The program supports a range of colocation deployments, including cabinets, cages, private suites, and build-to-suit environments, paired with comprehensive security and continuous onsite operations. This adaptability gives customers room to grow as their infrastructure needs evolve and supports the rising demands of AI, machine learning, and data intensive workloads.
The facility incorporates N+1 redundancy across all major systems, mission-critical controls and monitoring, and a 100 percent uptime SLA. SV4 also includes office space, conference rooms, tech lounge, and kitchen to support day-to-day needs on site.
Today, SV4’s continued relevance supports the kinds of workloads that drive the digital economy. It shows how well-designed critical facilities are about infrastructure that stays resilient, scalable, and valuable through multiple generations of technology.
