Strategic Advisor, Residential

During his 40-year career in the industry, Bruce has worn many hats including architect, business owner, vice president and most recently, Strategic Advisor, Residential at NORR. Bruce has deep roots in Calgary where he started his career, and over time has been a driving force in shaping the landscape with some of the City’s most notable commercial and residential buildings. His signature projects include the Calgary Courts Centre, the McMahon Stadium Renovation, Westman Village, the three tower urban hub of West Village Towers and most recently, Calgary’s tallest residential complex, the Hat @ Elbow River.

Bruce is an architect of both innovative projects and deep client relationships. He can distill the complexities of architecture into the equation of geometry + science + art + people. He believes that this equation in the hands of NORR’s multi-disciplined, integrated design teams, always equals success.

Bruce has not only mastered the fine art of business development but also fulfills his passion for design through the arts. He is a talented illustrator and painter of dramatic large-scale acrylics and enjoys sharing his work amongst family, friends and colleagues.
