With more than 20 years of experience designing extraordinary institutional projects for both private and public clients, Chaderique is an integral thought leader in the Education sector. As Principal, Education, he collaborates with the academic community and all levels of government to advance design. He has proven leadership experience across all aspects of the design, process and project delivery. His award-winning projects have been published in industry publications including the American Institute of Architects. Some of his recent work includes Wayne State University STEM Innovation Center and WSU’s Advance Technology Education Center.

Chaderique excels in campus planning, space programming, stakeholder and student engagement. He has helped develop projects that foster diverse student interactive spaces, active learning and high flex environments. He understands that education projects must support equal access to seamless digital and physical learning environments, ultimately supporting the connected global transformation of learning. His extensive design background fosters a collaborative process that leads to innovation and technical excellence, combining creative talent and in-depth practical experience to seamlessly bridge all project phases. Chaderique has been recognized consistently for his innovative institutional design, leadership and commitment to sustainability. He is also a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC)’s Detroit Region Market Leadership Advisory Board. The council advocates for LEED® building standards in order to transform the design, construction and operations. The Board is focused on region-specific issues and helps advance green building through engagement and education on sustainable design and construction.

With his Northern Ontario roots, Chaderique is an avid outdoor adventurer. Enjoying mountain biking, skiing, sailing or photographing, he is inspired by the outdoor natural processes and continually incorporates natural elements into his work. With the use of organic formwork integrated with the outdoor elements, Chaderique blends the dichotomy of the natural world and the built environment.
