For 30 years, Frank has built trusted relationships with Health Sciences clients, guided by a deep commitment to creating environments that promote health, wellness and the delivery of vital services. As Vice President, Health Sciences, North America, he combines his creative vision and technical expertise to lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering specialized designs across diverse healthcare settings—including Acute Care, Continuing Care, Community-Based Care, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Cancer Care Centers and Life Sciences. He is a champion of the Immersive Design Process, which integrates virtual reality and in-situ simulation technologies to foster seamless collaboration between clinicians and architects, ensuring rigorously tested solutions that improve care delivery.
Frank is guided by human-centric and evidence-based design where healing environments place patients at the center of their care. He works to identify emerging influences, forecasting adoption of technology and fully understand the implications of market dynamic forces, such as value-based care, human centric design and other opportunities that require alignment in the ways that we deliver care. He has collaborated with leading clinicians in some of the world’s top hospitals, including UHN Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, St. Michael’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Health Centre and Michael Garron Hospital.
His leadership is reflected in his ability to build cohesive teams that bring transformative projects to life. His portfolio includes significant design projects such as the Peter Gilgan Patient Care Tower at St. Michael’s Hospital, Princess Margret Cancer Centre Space Transformation, LGC Group North American Headquarters, Essex Centre of Research (CORe) at the University of Windsor, ON and the Canadian Blood Services Facility in Calgary, AB. This work speaks to his commitment to delivering projects that are well-designed, professionally managed and skillfully executed.
