Katherine Sendrowicz doesn’t wait for doors to open—she builds the threshold. As Principal, Education, North America, Katherine leads with clarity, conviction, and over two decades of experience spanning private and public architecture. Her work reflects a deep commitment to creating learning environments that support thinking, belonging and future readiness. Katherine’s career has taken her through K–12 schools, post-secondary campuses and purpose-built residences. With strong roots in design, project delivery and studio operations, she guides a team that is redefining how learning spaces come to life—blending vision with delivery, aligning user needs with long-term value, and fostering collaboration across stakeholders.
Project such as the Lake Huron Research Lab and Sangam Valley College (which blends teaching, research and community impact within flexible, high-performance frameworks) reflect a belief that learning environments are civic infrastructure—designed for the common good. Katherine’s leadership is rooted in curiosity and respect for her teams and clients. Known for her steady focus and momentum, she leads by example and mentors through action, creating space for others to grow and thrive. A lifelong learner and challenger of limits, Katherine approaches her work with the same energy she brings to high-altitude climbs or offshore sailing: a focus on purpose, progress and the people alongside her.
