With a career-long focus on industrial architecture, Steve brings strategic leadership to NORR’s Industrial sector across a diverse range of facility types, from large-scale logistics hubs and manufacturing facilities to micro-fulfillment centers and distilleries. He champions innovative yet practical solutions with a future-focused vision, setting new standards for adaptability and performance across manufacturing, logistics and distribution.
Steve’s experience ranges from core and shell speculative industrial developments and manufacturing headquarters to cold storage and automated packaging facilities for clients such as UPS, Lidl and CVS. Key industrial projects include the Tasty Baking corporate and manufacturing facility in the Philadelphia Navy Yard—one of the largest LEED-certified bakeries in the world—and logistics developments for the Rockefeller Group’s Spotswood and Boulevard sites. His dedication to flexible, sustainable design continues to set industry benchmarks and drive value for clients and communities alike.
Known for his client-centered approach, he oversees a multidisciplinary team across North America who are equally committed to drive successful outcomes for clients and project stakeholders. This approach is built around a holistic understanding of client goals, technical needs and advancements, regulatory standards and investment dynamics. Projects involve ground-up developments, building repositionings and tenant improvements that maximize the value of assets, creating structures optimized for efficient, safe and value-driven buildings that can meet the needs of various industrial uses. Whether its integrating complex industrial processes or coordinating sustainable infrastructure, Steve and his team deliver industry leading facilities.
Dedicated to creating lasting impact across the industry, Steve is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Industrial Council in Philadelphia. In addition to his professional commitments, Steve actively mentors young design professionals and has been part of Temple University’s career mentoring program for more than a decade.
