Derek’s 25 years of architectural design and drafting experience cover a diverse portfolio of projects across Commercial, Education, Public Buildings and Residential sectors. His unique design approach has been recognized with several unique projects including Imperia. The Saint Grand and AMLI 808.
Derek’s leadership and guidance have been instrumental in the professional growth of NORR’s next generation design professionals. Using his design skills and mastery of a range of technical application and technology, Derek consistently raises the bar, often using Virtual Reality (VR) with his clients, brining projects to life, and often exceeding client expectations. He has developed several long-term client relationships, which have helped elevate NORR’s position in the Greater Philadelphia Area.
Growing up in Maine, US, inspired his love of the outdoors and new adventures. He is an avid photographer, painter and builder of things, from furniture to cars and motorcycles. He looks at every new design challenge as an opportunity to combine his aptitude in the arts with the purpose of design in a way that respects and enhances its environment.
